I loved the photos - I would advise all investors to have professionally shot photos of property renovations - and use those photos for marketing purposes - no need to rely on estate agents, some of whose staff are not professionally trained to shoot property and portfolio photos. Impressed with the finished results.

The only issue I have is that when contractors argue over price - once the prepaid price has only been paid. I have been made aware that some contractors are charged between 20-50% of the price requested on the website. Please be aware that the contract if made through MYCONSTRUCTOR.COM is between you and them - what rate they pay the contractor is not the issue of the payee. Wishing you all a blessed day - and please remember that not all disabilities are visible - so please be respectful.

CCTV Installation: What You Need To Know & Why It Is Important

CCTV installation is an important part of any business, and it's no exception for the retail industry. By monitoring your store from a remote location, you can ensure that everything is running smoothly and that no unauthorized individuals are entering or leaving your premises.

Professional CCTV Installation

CCTV installation is a process that can be quite complex, but it doesn't have to be. With the right tools and guidance, you can get the job done quickly and efficiently.

  • Types of Cameras.
CCTV cameras come in a variety of different shapes and sizes. Some are designed to be mounted on the wall or ceiling, while others are portable and can be used in various locations throughout your store.
  • Portable Cameras.
Portable cameras are the ideal option for businesses that want to monitor their entire premises from a remote location. They're typically small enough to be carried around easily, and they have a range of up to 500 feet.
  • Wall Mounted Cameras.
Wall-mounted cameras are perfect for businesses that want to keep an eye on specific areas of their store. They typically have a wider field of view (120 degrees), making them better suited for monitoring large areas.

What Should You Know About CCTV Camera Installation?

When it comes to installing a CCTV camera, there are a few things you need to know.

  • First, you will need to make sure that your premises are properly cleared of any obstructions. This includes anything that could potentially block the camera's view, like furniture or walls. You will also want to make sure that the camera has a clear line of sight to all areas of your property.
  • Next, you'll need to choose the right CCTV camera for your needs. There are a number of different types of cameras available on the market, so it is important to select the one that best suits your needs. For example, some cameras are designed for indoor use only, while others can be used outdoors as well.
  • Finally, you'll need to install the CCTV camera. This involves attaching the camera to an appropriate mounting system and then wiring it up to an electrical outlet. Once everything is installed, you will need to configure the video surveillance system accordingly.

Home CCTV Installation

CCTV installation, like any other home improvement project, is not as simple as just bolting something onto your wall. You must take into account the layout of your home, how you want the camera to be positioned, and what features you want the system to have. Here are some factors to consider when installing a home CCTV system:

  • Location.
Your first decision is where you will place the camera(s). Ideally, you would want the camera in an area that is easily accessible but also out of sight. If possible, try to mount the camera over an entryway or near a staircase so that it can record activity as people enter and leave your home.
  • Features.
Before purchasing a CCTV system, make sure to determine what features you need it to have. Many systems include motion detection technology and digital recording capability. Some systems even come with software that allows you to review footage remotely or store it on a hard drive for future use.
  • Storage.
Once you have selected a system and location for your cameras, make sure to account for storage space. Most systems require at least one hard drive filled with footage for long-term storage. Additionally, many systems include software that can automatically organize footage by date or time stamping it according to events captured on video.
